Second Life: FAQ & Feedback
These are answers to some of the most common questions I've been asked by Second Life residents over the years.
Q. "I see that there hasn't been an update to [x,y,z] for a while. I bought a copy today, can you update it?"
I wear many hats working on various projects, not just Second Life content. Sometimes, I don't have the bandwidth to keep everything I create "up-to-date". Please don't assume an old purchase needs fixing just because it hasn't seen any recent updates! However, if you're experiencing issues with a product, such as bugs or errors that prevent you from using it as intended, I'm here to help and will prioritize those requests.
Q. "Would you be willing to give or sell me a fully "modify + copy + transfer" version of your "script, mesh, object..." for my own personal use?
Sorry! No. I get asked this question almost monthly from residents. Please see my policy on "Permissions."
Q. "Can I have [fill in blank] for free?"
Sorry! No. I work long and hard on my products in Second Life. Buy stuff and support your content creators. I have to pay for things too, just like everybody else.
Q. "Does anyone but you work at your shop?"
No. Never accept help or pay for services at my store unless it's directly from me.
Q. "Do you have staff which sell gift cards?"
No. Never pay anyone at my store for products or services unless it's me. (Supa Shang)
Q. "Can I take pictures in your shop?"
If you can see it, you can take pictures of it. My shop is a public place, feel free to snap away.
Q. "Can I feature your shop on my blog or review?"
Of course, and you are welcome. I welcome all positive feedback, verbal abuse
and constructive criticism.
Q. "I'm too lazy to read instructions, Can I TP you????"
No. Read the instructions.
😠 "I just got this free item from you and it's not what it says on the box! I expected [X,Y,Z] features to work the way I want. I can't find the website. This is false advertising! You need to update this right now or I'll report you!"
Please read our policy regarding "Freebie Items". If an item is given to you freely (aka as a "freebie"), we are under no obligation to comply with any support requests or demands from you. These items are provided "as is", and in good faith as a gift. Unless the item in question is adversely affecting a residents ability to enjoy Second Life in the normal way, we will not provide support for "freebie" items. You are able to delete a freebie item from your inventory as easily as it was for you to obtain it.
